"No. No, Nance, stop." She ran her hands over the skin below Nancy's chin, sliding back and forth like a pendulum. "I followed a river of your blood- a river, Nancy." She couldn't survive another of Nancy's lies, her belief that she was somehow responsible for this, that she had believed Robin to be dead.
Not when she sat drenched in Nancy's blood, unraveled at the place in which she had completely disappeared.

Mike hears the door shut and instantly knows he isn’t alone anymore.
“Mike, you’ve been acting strange this entire trip,” Will says, frustration clear as he backs Mike toward the bed until he has no choice but to sit, looking down at him. “Why are you avoiding me?”
“It’s nothing,” Mike breathes, refusing to meet Wills eyes.
Will shakes his head. “I may be a lot of things, but I’m not stupid. I’m not leaving until you tell me the truth.”
The silence stretches, heavy and suffocating. Then Mike finally speaks, his voice barely steady.
“It’s you, Will. I can’t be near you without going insane. I think i’m going crazy and I can’t understand anything”
Everything Mike has been trying to ignore for the past week suddenly feels impossible to deny.
