Summary
What if it was only Hermione who was captured by snatchers? What if Greyback was the one to torment her instead of Bellatrix? What if she chanced a way to save herself because nobody else would? Nobody, really?
//
Or the one where Draco sacrifices a part of himself to free Hermione and she is hellbent on showing him her gratitude (to his annoyance).

Summary
This is a Muggle AU, where everyone are just normal people — they went to university, they had lives, they made choices they couldn't take back, and no magic.
Hermione Granger has spent the last year being very good at her job and very careful about everything else. As an analyst in the Murder Department, she has a system: work hard, stay useful, don't think about the two years before this one. The system works. It has to.
Then Detective Draco Malfoy transfers in from London, and the case file on her desk turns out to be the least dangerous thing he brings with him.
They are assigned as partners on a cold case review — three unsolved homicides, four years old, similar victims, no apparent connection. What they find instead is a pattern that leads somewhere neither of them expected: back into Draco's own past, and toward a killer who has been watching how close anyone gets to the truth.
What Remains is a story about a case that shouldn't be personal and is, a relationship that ended badly and didn't, and two people who are very good at their jobs and considerably worse at everything else.

Summary
Things fall apart, the centre cannot hold.
Hermione Granger has a plan. She's going to return to Hogwarts, bury herself in studying for a record number of NEWTs, be an excellent (almost) girlfriend and try to ignore the growing sense that she doesn't actually know who she is when she has nobody to help.
Draco Malfoy has no plan. What he has is a powerful imagination and a propensity for burying himself in it when things get a bit... challenging. But perhaps even his imagination won't save him from the slow, inconvenient realisation that he has no idea who he actually is either.
This is a dual POV story about the painful business of growing up. And about two rivals doing it in uncomfortably close proximity.

Summary
Fifteen years after the war, and Draco Malfoy works off the record for the Auror Office. During a mission investigating an illegal Potions ring, he nearly gets himself killed—and everything points to an underground speakeasy.
Entangled in the case, he finds a woman who’s been dead for the last decade:
Hermione Granger.
Forced to work together, they uncover that what seemed like a simple job is looking more and more like a deep Ministry conspiracy.
But the real mystery Draco can’t get his head around is:
Who really is Hermione Granger?
And how on earth is she alive?-
This is a noir thriller, a dark comedy, and a slow-burn romance. Expect action, tension, and angst, along with terrible, heart-wrenching yearning and eventual smut.
Draco's (unreliable) POV.
Completely pre-written (~109k) — updated Monday & Thursday (CET).

Summary
It takes so much violence to become gentle.
Draco would happily pay that price for her.
or: after inadvertently getting herself involved in Draco’s top-secret assignment, Hermione is forced to deal head on with her trauma and the fact that Draco just wants to take her pain away, double it, and give it to the next guy.
