    Basically Hamzah works through the fact that he got crossed with Martin and they fucked.

    "He'd gotten inside and they went through the motions of their friendship (good motions, of course). They greeted and laughed and played games. They’d drank along the way and the night was going fine, normal. Hamzah had to admit that drinking around the reason for getting drunk wasn’t always a smart option, but Martin was drunk too. He was probably drunk enough to miss the longing looks and awkward pauses and altogether strange behavior that Hamzah couldn’t seem to put a lid on.

    Martin wasn’t, of course, too drunk to notice, but that became clear to Hamzah sooner rather than later."

    Hamzah peeps his eyes open a sliver subconciously, blood running cold when he sees someone against the opposite wall, staring straight at them. He blinks a couple times, trying to get a clearer view and gasps.

    "You like that?" Claire murmurs, thinking his gasp was for her.

    Hamzah doesn't respond, chilled blood immediately running red hot as he recognizes Martin. He can tell his jaw is clenched, but he looks casual. Normal. Besides the eye contact, of course.

    "Y-Yeah." Hamzah stutters back, feeling the heat travel lower in his body as he holds Martin's gaze. He was too drunk to think about what that means. He just knew it felt good. He wanted to put on a show.
