Summary
Sokka doesn’t know what to think about the new student at his University, Zuko, or the recently-appeared Spiderman, but is forced to make up his mind during (too many) chance encounters.
"Sokka pressed the rag to the garish scars, trying to ignore how Zuko’s hiss sent a jolt down his spine. He rubbed the rag over the skin of his shoulder gently. Zuko flinched beneath him.
It felt like Sokka was holding his breath– the proximity and closeness of the other boy so unfamiliar. He reached out his hand, gripping Zuko’s bicep to hold him in place.
“Stop.”
Zuko gave him a sidelong glance, annoyance ricocheting across his features. Sokka met his eyes, doing his best to communicate only the new, infinite amounts of respect he had for Zuko. He wouldn’t give him any pity and didn’t dare to reveal his own compassion. Respect was all he could have. It was all Zuko needed anyway."

In a world where everyone is born with some kind of power, Roman is of course using his to be a hero.
Navigating college on top of that is of course not easy. But add a verry cute if sullen roommate with a pension for getting in trouble makes his life a lot more interesting.In a world where everyone has some kind of power, of course Virgil would get a completely useless one. At least he likes his classes, and his roommate is decent, and not bad to look at. So there's that.

Summary
Logan Croft was certain that the trappings of romance were wholly unnecessary for the social compatibility experiment known as dating. To prove it to his friends, Roman and Remus Kingsford, he agrees to ask out the next person to come through the doors to the courtyard from the cafeteria... who just so happens to be the emo skater king of Sanders High School, Virgil Delaney.
Virgil is just trying to get through his last year of high school while working to afford a shitty apartment and food to take care of his little brother Thomas. He doesn't have the time or energy for a relationship, despite his best friend Patton Morales worrying that he'll be lonely now that Patton is dating their other friend Janus Atea. To ease Patton's worries, Virgil promises to agree to a date with the next person who "works up the courage to ask for a date, but not a hookup".
