Marguerite's was in a nondescript, brown building from the sixties or seventies with blacked-out windows and a rusting sign. The only thing illuminating both the lot and the road were the security lights along the eave of the building. Darkness and the sounds of wildlife consumed everything else outside the circle of light; it made Ethan's stomach squirm.

Summary
'death is only the beginning'
It seemed like the end, and surely it should have been. The shadow of the man known as Ethan Winters was supposed to find rest after the explosion that levelled the Village. Only he didn't.
Alternatively: Idk, I just wrote this. First time ever posting a fic and wanted to just jam out some RE8 self-indulgent barf. Ethan and Heisenberg surviving out in the cold, cold aftermath following the game's end.
