Summary
Just the idea of Lena kissing her, is a lot and she’s shocked at how much she wants her to do just that. It makes sense, in this moment, casting spells and making unions. It could be another way in which they could truly connect their bodies and oh, Rao, this is new. Is this new? Kara’s not sure she knows anymore.
Maybe it’s the magic, the connection of the spell, binding them as one in some way Kara can’t comprehend, nor understand, or maybe it’s something that’s always been there? A longing, dormant in the back of her mind, waiting for a spark to awaken it. Her heart, her feelings. Lena.
“To us,” Kara says, knocking the entire drink back and trying to pull herself together.

Wondering why Lena's avoiding her, Kara goes in search of answers.

Lena hums. “And here I thought you were supposed to be saving me, tonight.”
Kara blinks up from the food to Lena’s chest—oops—before meeting Lena’s eyes. “Save you?” she says. “Haha. What. Like, uh, like Supergirl? Or whatever?”
“No, silly,” Lena says, smiling so fondly at her that it makes Kara a little lightheaded. “As my bodyguard, of course.”
“Oh right! That’s me!” Kara grins, puffing out her chest and clicking her heels and keeping her eyeline firmly above Lena’s shoulders. “At your service, ma’am. Ready to guard your—um.” She halts. “Your… body,” she finishes, flinching.
