Summary
Mingi is a beginner hunter who's been alone on the road for a decade—Hongjoong helps him out on a hunt gone wrong, and decides to stick by him, you know, "just in case". One hunt turns to two, two hunts turn into four, and then, well, Mingi guesses they could be considered partners.
Hongjoong (aka Fangs) is well-known in the scene, and Mingi has been following his moves for a while. Despite his reputation for stomping ghoul heads and escaping the law, Mingi comes to realize that Hongjoong's personality and mannerisms are actually adorable. Like a cat, Hongjoong is skiddish yet quick on his feet, with reflexes like lightning, but once he trusts, he'll follow you around like a shadow and purr under rough hands.

Summary
The Cloud Recesses Club rink is a little too quiet for Wei Ying’s taste. The only sounds are the scrape of skates on ice and the occasional clatter of a jump gone wrong. He loves it, though. There’s a sense of peace here, the kind that wraps around you like a thick blanket on a cold day. It’s different from the noisy, bustling public rinks he’s visited before. This one feels… special.
Wei Ying notices too many details. The boy’s stiff posture, the way his brows furrow in concentration, the almost imperceptible tremble in his hands as he prepares for another hop. He also notices how utterly alone the boy looks, and Wei Ying decides that he won’t stand for it.

Yuzuru has not put much thought into dates, despite his parents having the same exact day, month, and year tattooed onto their skin in permanent, unfading ink. Summary
Hongjoong freezes and it feels like that noise is rattling around in his brain with reverb, he'd never heard the other make a sound even similar to that before, something so needy, so desperate, so altogether… effeminate.
Hongjoong is powerless to stop the smirk he feels playing on his lips as he leans in towards San's face, never breaking eye contact. The movement pushes his wrist harder into the pillow and San makes no move to stop it.
"Oh" Hongjoong breathes, inches away from his mouth. "You liked that, didn't you?"

Summary
Hongjoong doesn't remember not being in love with Mingi, can't recall where the love ends and he begins. He's kept that part of him inside for so long, forcing himself to be content with just being the one Mingi crawls to at night when he needs comfort. It was easier when Mingi would come to him about the faceless men in his phone, but now that his attention has shifted to Seonghwa, Hongjoong isn't sure how much more he can take.
He tries to move on, escape the feelings that threaten to suffocate him, but even when his body is pressed against someone else, all he sees are flashes of the man he left back at the dorm. -

Mingi was probably a complete failure.
Instead of a perfect wedding with a flawless bride, he chose escape, the endless sea, and pirates—the only way to disappear from a life that had been decided for him.
And so he set out on a journey aboard a ship, as far away from the palace and everything familiar as possible, ending up beside a captain whose gaze was impossible to ignore.
