Ilya is the captain, so if anything, he should be holding the leash. In English, you can be singular or plural, but he knows what Svensson is trying to say. He is saying Ilya Rozanov, you are Hollander’s bitch.
“Only sometimes,” Ilya replies, grinning. He wins the face off.

Ilya inhales sharply, furrowed brows giving his hesitation away.
Shane’s breath hitches in his throat as his eyes rapidly scan Ilya’s face, his downturned mouth, the way his pulse hammers visibly in throat. He physically watches the way his own intentions land on Ilya and prays to whatever entities exist that, for once, he is reading the situation correctly.
