Summary
Bucky stomps his way to a stop in front of Steve. Steve looks up at him and smiles. His flat glare is all Winter Soldier, chilling to the bone, but the restless clench of his fists is Bucky. So is the stubborn set to his jaw when he demands, “Let me scent you.”
Without waiting for an answer, he begins to strip off his gear and set it in orderly rows on the coffee table. Derringer, holster, SIG, holster, mag-pouch, IFAK, Skorpion, belt, vest —
Steve’s eyebrows steadily rise. Surely, he thinks, Bucky hadn’t brought all those grenades for him. Bucky’s glare turns murderous when he notes Steve’s bland amusement, but by the time he’s done, dressed down to a t-shirt and cargos, he still hasn’t moved from his expectant spot in front of him, so Steve gathers up his wits and says, “Uh, sure, Buck. If you want.”
And then, without any pomp or ceremony, he’s got a lap full of serum-enhanced super-soldier.
or: Bucky’s memory leads him astray sometimes, but it works out just fine in the end.

“‘S okay. It don’t have to mean nothing,” Bucky said, trying to convince himself as much as Steve. “‘S just rutting. Just a bit of rutting.”
His lips were so dry, his mouth too, and his throat, but the rest of his body felt like hot languid liquid was flowing through it. Steve swallowed, licked his lips. Maybe Steve’s mouth was dry too?
One hot summer, when Bucky and Steve are fifteen, the line between their friendship and something new that Bucky can’t quite name blurs. It is only years later that the line disappears completely and Bucky can finally put a name to that something.

“Keys to Steve’s place in Brooklyn, and his motorcycle. Some records about his, ah, accounts and things. He—well, he hasn’t been declared officially dead, we can’t, you know, say anything about the time travel, but—”
“He’s not coming back,” says Bucky, before Banner has to try to couch it softly, or spare Bucky’s assumed feelings. It’s a courtesy Bucky doesn’t need. His feelings have seemed very far away since Steve left. “I know.”
"Yeah, so, uh, I just figured you should have all this."
Bucky is doing fine after the Blip. He has his amends, he has his exit strategies, he goes to therapy. Steve's gone, but that's fine, Bucky can deal with that, even if he can't deal with feeling like a ghost in the apartment that Steve left behind. But when Steve returns, they'll both have to deal with how to rebuild a friendship and a home that are haunted by the ghosts of who they used to be. Their methods of doing so are perhaps less than ideal, what with how they involve more sex and stealthy surprise interior decoration than any actual communication. Maybe that's all they need to make a new home together.

Summary
Loki has been at this for centuries, reliving the same moments over and over again in a desperate attempt to change the future. He needs a break, just long enough to have a brief mental breakdown over the tragedy that is his life.
He pauses time, but somehow, Mobius finds him anyway. With emotions running high, he says a few things he probably shouldn't. But, in his defense, it's not like Mobius is going to remember that Loki has fallen so hopelessly in love with him.
Except... he does.
