Does she see the path her life would have taken, if it wasn’t for that day in the nursery- an apothecary in London, or China or anywhere she wanted, a chic flat and a nicer car and cool friends who didn’t waste their twenties taking care of an undead child and putting their brother-in-law back together?
    So I do get it. But I don’t understand why she doesn’t try harder to get over it. Simon is more than the Mage, more than the Chosen One, just like Nicodemus is more than that night in December."
