Summary
By dinner, it had gone more sour than intended. Taesan had said something about Woonhak’s voice cracking when he argued, and Woonhak had gone quiet first, then awfully pink in the face, then stood up with his bowl. Eyes glossy. He tried to keep talking through it, sputtering, “I’m not mad, I just—,” but the words didn’t make it out any more after the chair scraped away from the table and the door to his room shut.

Summary
“Give me that,” Sungho says when Jaehyun’s done, reaching out automatically to take the now-bare popsicle stick from Jaehyun’s hand. Sungho grabs it gingerly between the tabs of his thumb and index finger, not so enthusiastic about the idea of getting his hands all sticky like Jaehyun has. Sungho places the stick on his other side, right beside his own, the two reunited once more after Jaehyun had broken the twin popsicles so embarrassingly unevenly, and Sungho let him have the bigger half.
“Still such a clean-freak, Park Sungho,” Jaehyun remarks playfully, leaning back against the slanted surface now that he’s done eating. “What would I do without you?”
