“You know, Hanbinnie,” his grandmother starts, “I always thought that you would be getting married first, and that we would all be sitting here at your wedding right now.”
His breath hitches in his throat at her implication and his entire body tenses up. His teeth desperately gnaw on the skin inside his bottom lip, trying to figure out how he can make himself disappear from this conversation immediately.
“Speaking of–,” she continues, “where is my sweet HaoHao, by the way? I haven’t seen him around in quite a while…”
or alternatively: Hanbin is the best man at Gyuvin and Ricky’s wedding and he tries very hard to ignore the absence of a certain person who isn’t in attendance. He drinks a bit too much champagne and shows up to said person’s apartment uninvited… after not speaking to him for three years.

“Stay close.” Hanbin murmurs, pulling Hao’s body closer to his.
He slots right next to Hanbin, “Hanbin-ah,” Hao whines in a breath, hand trying to brush the hood out of his vision, “I can’t see if you do that.”
“You don’t need to see,” Hanbin replies, “I’ll be your eyes.”Hao never imagined that sneaking into the royal kitchen would have him leaving his coven for good, without a single goodbye to the rest of his family. He would've also never dared to also imagine that the Sun God himself would be plucking him by the collar and dragging him straight to work for his abode. Really, there's much that he shouldn't be imagining. All he knows is that he's weak to a handsome face and that maybe with enough nagging, he can melt the cold exterior of someone who rules over something so warm.
Who knew the Sun God would be one to grovel on his feet for the mere presence of a daisy spirit?
