Summary
Will winces and holds on to Mike’s shoulder, pinching him with his pain. Will breathes through his teeth and clenches his face. "Mike-Mike, stop please," Will says, clutching onto Mike's arm.
Mike continues cleaning with tears welling in his eyes. "Almost there, okay, Will?" Mike says shakily. Mike takes some topical antibiotics and spreads them on his deep gashes, wishing he could take Will's pain and endure it for him.
Will rests his head on Mike’s shoulder, crying from the pain, pooling Mike's sleeve with tears. "I know, I know, almost done," Mike says reassuringly. This hurts Mike more than Will knows. Mike caresses Will's neck and runs his hand through his hair as his head lies on his shoulder.
“You can do this, I’m here for you, okay?” Mike says in a tone that makes even Will believe in himself. Will feels the cold, comforting caress from Mike’s hand on his bare skin. Goosebumps emerge from his skin, realizing how close and intimate they’ve become. Will picks up his head, wanting to give Mike space to finish.

“Yeah, sorry I uh- I mean no.” He stutters, trying to force the words out.
“What?” Will looks down at him, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
“No.”
“What do you mean no?” Will asks, his expression changing from confusion to something that almost looks like shock.
“I- sorry, yeah I’ll- I’ll help.” He replies, shaking his head, in disbelief that he couldn't even last ten seconds before immediately caving and doing as Will asked.
“Wow.” Max scoffs in amusement, clapping her hands dramatically. “Look at that Wheeler, you almost did it, you almost said no to Will. Very proud.” She sarcastically praises.
Or
Max makes fun of Mike for doing whatever Will wants so Mike tries to prove her wrong but fails miserably.
