Luo Binghe has been good to him so far. There’s no reason to be scared of him, even if the night makes him look so eerie. So, Shen Yuan takes a deep breath. “The woodshed has some kind of demonic energy around it, Luo-shixiong.”
“It does?” Luo Binghe doesn’t even glance at it. His eyes are doing that strange thing where they don’t seem to catch the light, swallowed by shadow no matter the angle. “Well, I suppose that would make sense.”

There was a hearing afterwards and this was also a very uninteresting affair, but at the end of the hearing it was decided that she was to become Trucy Gavin and the blond man was to become her guardian.
"You don't have to call me your father if you don't like," her new guardian told her on the drive to the home they were to share, and there was something about his placid expression that indicated he did not want to be called Daddy, and so she didn't.
Or, Trucy takes the long way home.
