It's second nature for Magnus to show his affection for his friends through kissing. It is not natural for anyone else.
It *is* second nature for everyone to tease Magnus with this wonderful ammunition. A hundred years of committing to the bit can do something close to creating habits. And add up to a lot of kisses.

Summary
Contrary to popular belief, Taako and his sister are doing great! They might have to steal to stay alive and sleep outside, but it's not so bad. Especially compared to staying with some of their cruddy family or being apart. As long as the twins are together, they'll be okay.
Which is why Taako is quite confuzzled to wake up surrounded by a bunch of strangers that apparently know him. And no Lup. Or at least, not his Lup.
These people might claim to be his family, but how is he supposed to trust that?

Taako gets hit with a de-aging curse that also takes his memories. The parallels are kind of awkward for everyone, but there's no time to dwell on it while trying to break the curse and take care of a small, traumatized, weasel of a child.
There's a bit of time for crying and bonding along the way though.

“Holidays!” Aubrey says. “Yes? No? Also, is that gonna be another Thacker situation?” She wiggles her fingers at the building, which looks like a mini Lodge, only without the guest wings.
Mama raises one thick eyebrow. “It’s just my workshop, nothin’ secret about it,” she says, stuffing her hands into her pockets. “And I’m Jewish. What about you?”
Aubrey makes a mental note to look up when Hanukkah is this year. Probably earlier than Yule. She has no clue what to get Mama. “Cool!” She says. “I do Yule, kind of. I’m bad at it. What about, like, Dani and Jake and everybody else? Sylvain doesn’t strike me as a very Christmas-y place.”
Mama laughs and wraps an arm around her shoulder as they turn and walk back towards the lodge. “They’ve got Candlenights,” She says, “Usually we celebrate it on New Years Eve, but we’re not doin’ anythin’ this year really. Not with our own personal FBI agent breathin’ down our necks, too risky. But I’m sure if you wanted to hand out Yule gifts you’d make folks pretty happy.”
Aubrey frowns. “They’re skipping Candlenights?”Aubrey saves Candlenights. Agent Stern is a rat bastard. Indrid has some fun.
