I got a few requests to post snippets I'd posted on Tumblr in a collection on here for the sake of access, so... here you go!
The preexisting drabbles will be uploaded here over the next few days as individual stand-alone chapters. Worth noting that these snippets aren't necessarily part of series canon unless I explicitly say so; I may want to edit those a bit before I feel comfortable calling them as such. The dream is not, Jaskier thinks, good foreshadowing for his plans tonight. The dream, after all, is about a man who King Emhyr decided had betrayed him, and subsequently had him killed. Killed in front of the court, no less, as a reminder of how quickly their fates could change according to the King’s whims.
Tonight, after his performance, Jaskier plans to do just the same. Betray his king.Jaskier, the so-called "Flower of King Emhyr's court," does not think himself a brave person. Still, he attempts to escape the King's volatile, violent court, and in doing so, stumbles into the Warlord's lands. There, he tries to determine if he is captive, pawn, or something else entirely.

In this world, he was not on a faraway planet, fighting against droves of droids on his loyal and steadfast varactyl mount. This world he was in the Temple, walking alongside his Commander. And this would change everything.
Obi-Wan Kenobi was in the Temple when Anakin Skywalker goes to the Dark Side.As the remaining Jedi and a portion of clones flee the Empire in search of a safe haven, attempting to rescue and help any other jedi and clones they can, the galaxy gets progressively darker and the Jedi and their allies are not exactly in a position to stop it.
For now, they just need to survive.
