The metal glinted dimly in the flickering light of the candles and the pew in front of her might have been a hundred years old, a thousand years old, but Rose didn’t care. She wouldn’t care if Headmistress Kirova, hell if Queen fucking Marina Szelsky herself, arrived to scream at her and then chuck her in a miserable prison somewhere for defacing a sacred space.
Let them come. Let them face what they had done.
Rose seeks out solitude during a time of grief but has an unexpected visitor.

Summary
He’d been staring at his locker door at the end of the shift, trying his best to not think about their last call. He wasn’t even sure what made him look over, if she made a noise, if he caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of his eyes; he wasn’t sure why he looked over because he hadn’t even realised there was anyone in the locker room with him.
But he did look over, doing so unthinkingly, and in doing so caught a glimpse of creamy skin, a strip of white lace, and a collection of clean, black lines inked into her skin, before he jerked his gaze up and met Sylvie’s wide eyes.
Spinning back around to face his locker, Casey coughed and shook his head, trying to wipe away the image of her long bare legs and that little tattoo on her hip bone for his own good.
“Sorry, I- I’m sorry.”

Casey swallowed again and glanced out at the house that was billowing with smoke. That front walk, the feeling of the stone cutting into his knee as he tripped and fell, his father’s angry voice chasing him out of the house. That front door, clicking shut ominously as it trapped him inside. That upstairs window, where he used to sit and look out, waiting for the yelling downstairs to stop.
He closed his eyes, allowing himself a moment to rest his head against the cool glass.
“Okay,” he heard himself say, hoping the others didn’t hear the waver in his voice. “Let’s go.”

“Darlin’,” Adam said gently and Kim cut him the coldest side-eye that if looks could kill he surely would have been six feet under already. “Come on, please don’t cry.”
Kim sniffed and wiped away some of her tears with the back of her hand. “I’m not crying.” She mumbled the lie around the spoon of ice cream in her mouth.
Adam sighed and took her hand. She cut him another hard look but didn’t pull away. “If this is about-”
Kim yanked the spoon free and said angrily, “I’m not crying because of you."
“Darlin’,” he said again and Kim visibly melted as he knew she would. She glanced at him and he looked earnestly into her eyes. “I’m really sorry I forgot your chocolate ice cream.

Ilya let out a laugh, “Please, you beg for me all the time.”
“I’m not the one who can’t go more than a day without jerking off —” shut up Hollander, SHUT UP “I can totally go two weeks without fucking.”
The Centaurs do a rotational room program for their first road trip of the season. Which would be fine if Ilya and Shane could be professionals.
Shane starts a fight and gets a Dick Trick, Ilya is a mastermind, Bood becomes an Queer Icon, Troy has no idea what's going on, Hayes is having the time of his life, and no one wants to talk about the showers thing anymore.
Now with Prequel, but stands alone.

Ilya says nothing for a few seconds and Shane glances up again from typing to see he’s being stared at with teasing eyes. He hates how the look still makes his heart flutter and neck go warm.
“Amazing shape,” Ilya parrots in a poor North American accent. “So kind of you to notice, Hollander. Good to know for future matches.” The smirk that launched a thousand penalty shots. “Or maybe you just like looking at older boring hockey players? Good to know for me.”
