Summary
The war was over, the battle won, so where was the victory cheer?
The whole of Wizarding Britain was dealing with their own trauma, everyone was struggling, but none more than George Weasley. The perpetually cheerful twin who'd lost a part of himself.
Would anyone notice the mask he put on? The one that acted like he was just fine. And more importantly, would they notice before it was too late?
~~~
It was a terrible thought. A dark desire George refused to acknowledge yet it was there, niggling in the back of his brain as he pushed his grief further and further down. He didn’t want to die. Couldn’t bear the thought of hurting his family any more than they’d already been hurt, yet he wanted nothing more than to see Fred again. Freddie would look after him, he always did.
Summary
“I’ll admit. I’m impressed, though I do have about a million questions. First and foremost, how have I never seen you at St. Mungo’s while you’re testing and developing this stuff? Do I even want to know?”
Fred uncrossed his arms and smiled.
“Ha. Easy. We’ve developed our own remedies or mastered Healing spells for most standard burns, bruises, black eyes, hair regrowing emergencies, you name it.”
He was casual about it. This extraordinary show of magic from product ideation, to creation, to Healing - it was all remarkable. He shrugged it off as if it was another Friday evening for him. Maybe it was.
Hermione shifted on her feet. The tingling she felt in her chest as she looked up at Fred was back. It was a pesky sensation - fleeting over the years as she found herself in close proximity to this confident, buoyant, firecracker of a Weasley. Similar to George but miles apart at the same time. He made her catch her breath outright at times with his brilliance, his heart, and his ability to get under her skin.
Jesus freaking Christ. I love the idea of this. But she capitalizes random words and has a clunky writing style and uses incorrect words in places. It keeps taking me out of the story and its killing me. I want to read this so bad. Going to keep trying but shit. She desperately needs a beta reader. Actually, I tried to keep reading but the wrong words and misspellings and clunky sentences hurt my brain so much. I wish I could just overlook it but I keep having to reread sentences. I can't do it.
Summary
~July 1984~
Mr. Hugo Granger lived at number 84 Rue de Pierre de Lune, in Paris, France. Every morning he would collect his paper from the doorstep and retreat back to his kitchen where an owl would be waiting with his other paper at the window. However, on this rainy Tuesday, there was more than a newspaper in this owl's talons.After the death of her parents, Hermione goes to live with her uncle at the age of five, discovering she is a witch from her magical uncle. Attending Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Hermione joins her school on a trip to Hogwarts in 1994, where three schools will be competing in the Triwizard Tournament.
Hermione meets many friends at Hogwarts, spending her sixth year amongst the other school's Houses, and discovering friends and loved ones that will last her whole life. If only she could figure out a way to help her new friends in the fight against He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, while desperately trying not to fall completely head over heels for a certain mischief-making redhead who seems intent on having her do just that.
"Oh, my poor old heart can't take this," Fred says, clutching his chest.
"You're thirteen," Hermione scoffs, rolling her eyes. "There's nothing old about you."
"I'm a twin. Combined we're twenty-six years old."
"That's still not old, and that's still not how it works."*\
