Last Jason checked, Roy’s toy box under their bed didn’t contain a riding crop. “You went shopping while I was away?”
“Nope.” Roy popped the word obnoxiously. Jason could just picture the insufferably sexy grin on his face. Had to picture it, in fact, because in this position the only view he had was the sheets, and his own hands already fisted in them.
“This,” another swish, another electrifying sting, higher up this time, “is one of my arrows.”
Or: Jason was supposed to be home eleven days ago. Roy makes it known how missed he was.

“There’s plenty of people on two, sure,” Roy was saying. “Present company included. But three? No way.”
“Think about how many people have shared teams with them. If those other teams are anything like the Titans, someone surely has.” Kory’s tone was light, as if stating the obvious.
Jason ground his teeth and seriously considered the merits of another few hours in the supply closet.
Or: Roy, Kory and friends inflict immeasurable psychic damage upon one Jason Todd. If he has to hear another word about sex and his siblings uttered in the same breath, Jason’s gonna start shooting. Maybe himself. Anything to exit this conversation.

Summary
Dick comes back to himself on a bus. His memory is a haze, the way it is when Joey possesses him and presses too hard. It's still a little unsettling, the way Joey can just... blur his memories out of existence. It's also hot. Dick's a complicated guy.
Because he's been a vigilante for two decades, his first instinct is to scan the bus for threats and figure out where he is. It's hard, because of the lapful of Rose he has. And, he realizes, because he's inside her. He tenses, hooks his chin over her shoulder to casually glance down.
She's wearing a short skirt, and it falls just far enough to conceal where they're connected. She leans back to smile at him, though they're so close he can barely see it.
"Morning, sunshine," she murmurs, amused. "Was wondering when Joey'd let you up."
"Where is he?" Dick asks, realizing he doesn't feel Joey anymore. Rose nods towards the door, where Joey is boarding. Looks like he wanted to pay the fare. It's ridiculous, but Dick can't help be fond, despite the situation he's found himself in.

“Here goes nothing.” Tim cleared his throat and flicked on the communicator. “Hello Bats. Your new dispatcher is reporting in.”Several moments of long silence greeted him. Tim shifted and eyed the mic icon, showing it was indeed on, the team had heard him.
Finally, an eerily chipper voice picked up. “Well, well, well. They told us we might get new blood, I wasn’t expecting you to sound so sweet. What’s your name, darling?”
“You can call me Tim.”
“Tim,” the new voice was low and angry. Red Hood’s icon lit up. “You expect us to believe that’s your real name? Tim? You sound like a fucking office worker.”
