Summary
Wuyang is a broke college student. Mizuki is an employee at an esoteric host club. Unexpectedly, their worlds collide one day without Wuyang even needing to step foot inside the building. Both are lonely in their own ways, but the more Wuyang learns about Mizuki, the more questions he finds himself with — questions whose answers lie behind the doors of the very establishment Mizuki is determined to keep Wuyang far away from.

Wuyang listened to Mizuki's peaceful, steady snores. He trusted Wuyang so much, to be able to sleep so soundly in his bed like this. Wuyang knew that was an incredibly rare and fragile thing, to have the privilege of being trusted by Mizuki to such an extent.

Wuyang Ye has no problem helping the new Overwatch agent, Mizuki Kawano, cover all his bases when it comes to warding off bad luck. That is, until the day Mizuki’s long-standing streak of misfortune manifests in the form of an illness neither of them could have ever predicted. Wuyang takes it upon himself to try and find some answers as well as a spark of good luck. As time slips by, however, he's not sure if he can work faster than the spirits haunting Mizuki - or Talon, whose next strike is expected any day now.

It’s so absurdly saccharine that Mizuki can’t help but smile. He sets his phone down so that he can finally get out of bed and get ready for the day, but another ping catches his attention.
