Sylus doesn’t give you the words. “Go on,” he says. “Say it.”

June may have realized she sees him as a friend, but that doesn’t stop her from playing his game. She doesn’t think he hates her anymore, but she doesn’t think he’s actually interested in her, either.
So she smiles, expecting that he’ll back down when she calls his bluff. He’s never followed through before, after all. Why should now be any different?

* * *Between the nightmares, prophetic visions, and violent hallucinations, June is losing grip on reality, but she has enough awareness to know that Astarion's flirtation is part of some sort of con.
