A thousand years ago, they built a city together.
Viktor and Jayce: scientists, dreamers, almost-lovers. They designed Automnion as a haven after the world fell, a sanctuary of logic and light where no one had to die young. But when raiders breached the city walls and Viktor was gravely wounded, Jayce broke their last promise. He hexcorized Viktor to save him, binding soul to circuitry, man to machine. In doing so, he unleashed something ancient and irreversible. The Lichcore was born.
Viktor left. When he returned, the city still stood... but Jayce was gone.

I am writing this series as a love letter to the complexities of growing up, seen through the lens of a character who is still learning how to move forward while holding onto what matters most.
