In their very first fight, Hyuntak smells like brown sugar and orange, and that had taken Seongje by surprise. So he starts to follow and provoke fights with Hyuntak just to caught his attencion and smell that scent that he releases when hes angry and nervous. The problem is that Seongje gots obsessed with the another alpha and because of his zero social skills, all his failed attemps at flirting were interpreted as a challenge.

Summary
What angers Hyuntak the most about the situation is that he didn't see it coming. Of course, after the Union disbands, another gang comes rushing in to fill the empty spot left by it. It's all power play, after all. Baekjin was the strongest, and that's why he stood over all those other little gangs.
Now that he's gone, the second best gets the top spot.
It's an exhausting ordeal.
or, when Hyuntak gets tangled up in the violent games of a new gang, the most unexpected person comes to his rescue.
