Reese Harbour had everything she wanted. Her father owned a wildly successful business, she had popularity, she even had the 'perfect' boyfriend, but that all came toppling down during hurricane agatha.
Beau Sacher, on the other hand, had everything he needed. He had a great group of friends, total freedom and because he was friends with Reese, he had free surfboards from her dad's business.
When Reese's dad took the boat out into the ocean on the night of the hurricane, she had to follow him. Unfortunately, she ended up getting lost. She took shelter in a cave and as the storm raged on, the rocks caved in. The only exit that remained was the pool in the middle of the cave.
The next morning, with no memory of how she got home the night prior, she attempted to help clean up some of the debris the storm left. Things seemed to be going well until she picked up a strange key that had been lying in a pool of water. Next thing she knew, she was on the ground with a fish tail instead of legs.
Not trusting anyone else with her secret, she turned to Beau. Now, with the help of the other pogues, Reese is one step closer to finding out what caused her to become a mermaid and why her father disappeared.
