The last thing Izuku remembered was running. Being chased, technically, but he was always being chased nowadays. He last recalled actually, physically running... a slight vibration from his wristwatch… an explosion behind him… and then the darkness he saw now.
It wasn’t a particularly ominous darkness, nor an absolute one; he could even see the brick of the alleyway wall opposite him, thanks to the dim light of a streetlamp somewhere in the distance. It was gloomy, the ground cluttered with trash and litter. The air was thick and wet and reeked of cigarette smoke and food garbage.
Izuku burst into happy tears.
His time travel device had worked.

Angus Major is a Hufflepuff from a Dark family, and the heir to his family line. He died in the Room of Requirement in his sixth year while doing research; through "obscure unknown magic" (he's lying, it was (probably) a dark arts accident) his soul got trapped within a portrait and now he's doing his best to wheedle Harry Potter into getting him a body in between teaching him politics and noble duties, and of course trying desperately not to fall in love all the while.
