    Summary

“Shh, shh," Satoru murmured, his voice low and steady, his hand trailing up Suguru's sweat-damp torso. He felt the muscles tense beneath his palm before releasing with every ragged breath. "No one will hurt you," he purred, trying to ease some of the tension that was building between their Alpha's.

When his hand reached Suguru's sticky hair, tangled and clinging to his fingers, the sensation sent a flicker of something electric through him. "I'll relieve your pain," he whispered.

And then, without warning, his lips curved into a smile.

    Summary

He should have eradicated the curse and left. He should have killed Suguru back then in front of that fucking KFC. He should’ve kept up the charade that he wasn’t in heat, that he didn’t come here knowing he was in heat, and that he had any priority other than protecting innocent people from Suguru Geto.
    ---------

In which a heat-stricken Satoru Gojo contemplates compromising his own morals and baby trapping his mate if it means winning him back, because if the net outcome is good, that means you should do it, right?

    Summary

There’s no regret tainting Yuuji’s voice when he says, “Satoru kissed me.”

He sounds quietly happy when he compresses days’ worth of flesh hunger into a few words. And he seems genuinely apologetic when he turns around and looks Satoru right in the eye to say, “This is pretty weird, isn’t it? Sorry, Gojou-sensei.”

Yuuji, Satoru realizes, has a peculiar way of hiding his pain.

He thinks of this boy in that crematorium in Sendai, carefully picking up his grandfather’s bones with a strong, dry gaze. The lack of grief was not for a lack of love; even Satoru could tell that much. He figured out a while later, watching Yuuji grin wide while his newly regrown heart thumped in his chest, that the lack of pain wasn’t a lack at all. It was just tucked away quietly somewhere Satoru couldn’t see or reach.

It’s strange to look at Yuuji’s awkward smile and know with bone-deep certainty that the seventeen-year-old ghost who sunk his teeth into his heart is now one such quiet grief.

Satoru navigates the aftermath of an accidental de-aging incident that led to his own teen self romancing and bedding his favorite student. Meanwhile, October 31st creeps closer.

    Summary

What is not acceptable, however, is to react to a purring Omega teenager how one would react to a purring Omega adult. Any arousal or interest that sparks up is to be ignored and shunned. After all, young Omegas don’t know what they’re doing. They can’t be held accountable for something that is intrinsic. It’s up to the Alphas, the powerful, the leaders, to set the boundaries. Especially when the Alpha is older than the Omega.

Which is a very long way to saying that Satoru Gojo is an awful Alpha--in addition to being a pretty shitty person, at least in the morals department.
