Seonghwa’s eyes meet cold ones as if he were peering into a soulless pit. Out of sheer curiosity, he spits out a question. “Please enlighten me, what could this place possibly have that you’re so interested in?” The sarcasm rolled off his lips, but it was also laced with pain and a plea for mercy.
“You.” The man states with a tone of finality. Before Seonghwa could ask what that meant, he was hit upside the head by the barrel of his assailant’s gun, and his vision went blank.
Or, Park Seonghwa lives miserably due to the torturous clutches of his father and deems his life irreversibly shattered. That is, until a masked man with unruly blonde hair whisks him away, far from the routine he was constantly troubled with. When he believed his life couldn’t get any worse, he found out the revolting secrets behind his father’s affiliation with gangs.

Colin heard the accident before he saw it. “Fucking idiot,” Jeff cursed from the back of the bus. Before Colin could turn there was an almighty crunch followed by an ear-splitting tearing sound. Colin’s head snapped to the side with a jerk and he felt weightless for a moment. Time slowed. The bus skidded.
AFC Richmond end up in a bus accident on the way to a game and Colin has to contend with the near death of his closest friends

Jack Fenton towered over the majority of the crowd. His black hair was stark against all the lights and white walls. The broadness of his shoulders made people veer around him like someone parting the sea. Danny always got to see how his dad received so much attention, and was grateful that this time the orange hazmat suit was being repaired, so this time, he was wearing actual clothes.
Danny begrudgingly pushed himself off the wall and began to make his way towards his dad. He did his best to avoid bumping into other people, except seeing as he had yet to inherit his dad’s stature, he failed, and the points of contact only made him wince from the pain in his head and bruises lining his body. Eventually, though, he managed to reach him. The pain was still there, and he hunched his head down so the light couldn’t fully hit his eyes. Danny looped an arm with his dad’s, pleasantly surprised by the softness of his sleeves.
He didn’t know Dad owned something nice like that.
tldr; While dealing with what was most likely a concussion and his exuberant father dragging him out of the house, Danny mistakes Bruce Wayne as Jack Fenton. Bruce mistakes him for one of his own.

The boys win the strike and everything goes back to normal. The prices are down, the striking has stopped, and the threat of The Refuge is still looming over them. And Charles Morris has been missing for 30 more days than they were told he’d be serving.

Since this fic has remained unedited for over a year, I thought I should post the rest of what I had already written. I unfortunately doubt I will add anything more and so I apologise for the incomplete story, although it is more of a character study than a plot driven narrative so there won’t be any cliffhangers.
