“Sae,” Shidou’s voice was barely audible through the static in his brain. The alpha said his name like a plea, as if simply uttering the word would end whatever nightmare had descended upon them both.
It was kind of amusing in hindsight. Sae hadn’t expected the day to take such a turn. He honestly should have just stayed home. Fuck Shidou and his god-awful sweater.

“Okkotsu Yuuta-kun.” A smooth voice comes to his ears. A little too cheerful. A little too light. Yuuta’s chest is tight. His hands are shaking. His knees are pulled to his chest and his eyes are narrow. A man in a black uniform, hiding his face behind a set of bandages, white hair sticking up almost unnaturally. Yuuta knows this man’s appearance well.
“Gojou Satoru-san.” He whispers under his breath. “Where is Toge?”
“We can come to that later.” The man crouches, making himself level with Yuuta’s crouched posture. “You aren’t really in much of a position to make demands of me, Yuuta-kun. You know that, don’t you? Despite the fact that you and I have never met before now, you know full well who I am. I’m certain that he told you quite a bit about me, didn’t he?”
“He did.” Yuuta nods. “He told me that you’re a bad person.” He narrows his eyes and clenches his fists around the fabric of his pants. “He told me that you’re strong, too. But you’re not as strong as I am. You play dirty.” He clenches his teeth and widens his eyes. “Where is Toge?”

There’s a car pulled over on the road in front of her flashing its hazards, a fancy one—a Ferrari, candy apple red, smooth and shiny like glitter. The driver’s side door hung open, bleeding light onto the side of the road and in the puddle cast by the car’s lights crouched Yuta, phone in one hand and head in the other, tearing at his hair.
