“What’s your name?” the younger version of the man he’s known his entire eighteen years of life is speaking in front of him.
“Ahn-Yeon Si..”
“Your name is Ahyeon?”
“No, it’s Siwoo.”
The man, more like the boy, squints his eyes suspiciously. “That’s the name your parents gave you?”
“Yeah, unless they’re lying to me,” Siwoo replies breathlessly.
What the actual fuck? This better be a dream. A really, really long dream.

It sounded like a joke, but there wasn’t a hint of humor in the silver haired ninja’s voice, his right hand shaking as he formed a fist. Too weak to firm his resolve to strike again after everything, even if he had Obito, the enemy, in such an open state. Vulnerable not quite the word, with how effortlessly he kept forcing Naruto away despite his split in attention, but something, Kakashi just didn’t know what.
Barely able to make out the information his student tried to yell to him-
“Obito has become the Juubi’s Jinchuuriki!”
