Summary
Killjoy had a run-in with an intoxicating barista one day overseas in Seattle, Washington. Three years later, her stolen blueprint for the "spike" detonated in Venice. Killjoy, desperate to atone for her mistakes attends a mission in Morocco where she meets the striking barista yet again, but instead of working with the popular caffeinated drink, she works with poisonous chemicals that scares everyone who has come into contact with the snake's toxins.
Viper, the chemist and previous barista tries to get away from her past projects with the elusive and powerful Kingdom Corporation, finding solace as one of the co-founders of the VALORANT Protocol. Sabine knew Killjoy from their run-in at the coffee shop, but she dug deep into her files and found some rather, interesting coincidences between the "lockdown" device and the spike

The woman Cassie had spent countless late nights thinking about, who was one of the only people she trusted in the PTMC. One of the only people who knew the surface level things about Cassie's past. Her voice isn't what revealed her, instead it was the quiet sound of her sniffle as she tried to pull herself together and insist she was fine. But Dana looked through that, she always did. "Don't say you're fine, 'cause you're not. Talk to me, Mckay." Dana stood outside of Cassie's stall, leaning against the pasty, pale walls of the hospital bathroom. There was a pause, before Cassie spoke. "Just... give me a minute. I'm okay."
"Mckay. I could hear you crying from outside the door."
"Let me in."
