“You sound pitiful.” Leona let out a small huff of laughter. “It’s fine. Gives me an actual excuse to skip class.” He smirked, clearly amused. Ruggie was fairly certain he was getting more out of this than just that.
“D’you enjoy watchin’ me suffer?” Ruggie grumbled, swallowing back a sudden wave of nausea. Leona’s playful expression dropped, a frown tugging at his lips. Ruggie immediately regretted saying anything.

Adjusting to a world where no one remembers you were gone is difficult. Especially when you can almost remember what never was.

The tram arrives every day at 5:30. In the bowels of the city, masses force their way into the shuttle. Joshua eases his way between them, navigating suits and briefcases and school bags. He is in the UG because he does not like to feel a million sweaty bodies pressed against his at the same time. Instead he hears their sweaty thoughts filtering into his brain: thousands of unwanted words and images assaulting his mind, all fighting for his attention, when all he wants is to block them out- he tries to find Shibuya’s song, but it’s hiding somewhere underneath the dirty filthy nasty thoughts, so he sings to himself instead.
He hums his little tune while looking for a seat- he is in the first car, of course, because it makes for the longest ride- and he’ll be able to hear the Wall.

David smiled at him, sweet and cute and oh-so-innocent. The cycle of needling had looped around, it seemed. It was always the same. He’d start out playful, harmless, inviting you to join in with his good mood. Luring you in with innocent conversation... Then he’d shift to the teasing, the coy looks and prying questions. And then you’d get the worst kind of David: the smooth, alluring, Ever Victorious King, moving in to finish you off with his burning eyes and gentle smile. And if you were powerful enough to resist, and make it through? It just started up again from stage one. Slowly but surely chipping away at your defenses, confusing you and turning you on until you stopped using your head and just went with it.
Robin knew that he should shut it down now. If he wanted to preserve his dignity, he should just get up and walk away. The only problem with that plan was that Robin didn’t necessarily want to. -
