Talking about their sex lives is one thing. It’s conceptually nebulous and detached from any sort of reality that requires them to see the other as sexually available. It’s never dawned on Seungcheol before that he was the one with a wall up. Seungcheol does have eyes, though. It’s not like he doesn’t acknowledge that his best friend is one of the most beautiful people on earth. Jeonghan had never seemed like an option. That realization flips a switch.
"I can do the things you want," Jeonghan says, incredibly certain.

Summary
As a reward—a treat for being so good—Jeonghan rummages around and suddenly pulls out a collar from where it had been tucked away. It’s not one of Seungcheol’s. He has a few that range from cheap and nasty to just shy of midrange, mostly glorified chokers or simple bands wrapped around D-rings, their migration patterns ranging between Jeonghan’s apartment and Seungcheol’s bag and a myriad of drawers.
This one, though, looks quite like an actual dog collar.

It’s difficult to wrap his head around. There aren’t any documented cases of dimension jumping so most resources online are isolated in the science-fiction. Seungcheol asks Jeonghan to check the records again and skim through related literature. Those are dead-ends too.
Jeonghan positively chimes. “No worries. We’ll be transported back soon. At least, that’s how the stories go anyway.”

In ways, they mirror each other. The ‘J’ in Jeonghan, the ‘J’ in Jisoo, their wit, their venom. Jeonghan expresses his cruelty the same way Jisoo does, so it's familiar how Jeonghan can say so little but still imply Seungcheol's a piece of shit and how little patience he has for him anymore.
Jeonghan looks the sweetest like this, tooth-rotting when he’s at Jisoo’s worst.

In some ways, A/B/O stories are subversive, disrupting consensus social reality’s gender paradigms by exploring trans sexual desire, cis sexual desire that subverts patriarchal expectation, queer desire, non-gender-conforming desire, and extremely gender-conforming desire, often all in the same sexual act. In other ways, some stories' obsessive focus on the act of penetration in service of procreation reify patriarchal ideologies by inscribing them into not only social but biological reality. In A/B/O couples, the alpha is biologically determined to penetrate, and the omega biologically determined to be penetrated; their subsequent social behaviors, respectively dominant and submissive, are thus also biologically encoded. What do we do with that???
