Through the window is Dean Winchester, in all his beautiful glory, compassion, love, and humanity. Cas feels absolutely enamored in that moment, discovering that his feet are glued to the ground and his eyes are locked onto Dean’s face. He couldn’t determine what exactly made his face so mesmerizing — whether it be his freckles, his charming eyes, or his loving smile — but that didn’t matter.

Upon his return to Castle Town after failing to conquer TV World, Rouxls receives a request from Ralsei: serve as tour guide for the new recruits in town and show them to their new home. Surely, nothing will go wrong. Surely, the recruits aren't his exes.
After playing the new chapters, my friend and I yearned for more content about Rouxls and the weather couple. They requested a story about them with the "too many beds" reverse trope following chapter three, and I took that request a little too seriously. This is that story. Spoilers through chapter three of Deltarune.

On the second Tuesday of May, something goes wrong for Maki, and Haruta will never know exactly what it was.
Haruta may have close to zero in the success column of romantic experiences, but…they need to communicate, don’t they? Maki handles too many problems on his own as it is, and maybe that’s Haruta’s fault. If he doesn’t push Maki to talk to him, won’t that be like…slacking off? “Relationships take work,” Haruta’s first girlfriend said the day they broke up. Later, his mother snorted and added, “Well, she’s right, and you haven’t done a full day of work since you left elementary school.”
Maki’s eyes are focused, at least, and he reacts to the show every now and then. He’s warm, tucked in Haruta’s arm, and every time he shifts, he gets a little closer. He seems better now. Relaxed.
