Al-Haitham considers himself fairly adept at tending to his own needs. He’s carefully crafted a life in which he doesn’t want for very many things, and if there is something he does want, he is usually quick to obtain it.
Some things, though—and even he’ll admit it—require the assistance of a partner. And today, because it’s been a long, arduous week, he is willing to ask for that assistance.
Al-Haitham and Kaveh may not be friends exactly, but their relationship does come with a few select benefits. A bit of sexual experimentation falls well within the bounds of that relationship; they’ve accounted for all possibilities in that regard—all but one, perhaps.

Al Haitham's life was totally nothing. He would go to work, come home, lie on the floor, cut himself, and go back to work again. His life consisted of absolutely no value.
That is, until Kaveh showed up. Al Haitham can't let him go. He WON'T let him go. And he will do everything in his power just to get another glimpse at Kaveh.
