Summary

“If I so much as catch a whiff of you around this lab before three weeks after the surgery —“ (three weeks! Viktor sputters incredulously, but Jayce powers on) “— I’m dragging you back to…” he blinks. “Who am I dragging you back to? Who do you have looking after you?”“I do not need a babysitter,” Viktor scoffs. “I have been through worse. I will be fine. I will pay someone to deliver some meals and take the week off work.”
Jayce looks at him like Viktor’s just said something incredibly and unbearably sad.
“So,” Viktor continues, “are you going to do the laundry, or not? If not, I will find someone else.”
Jayce is silent for a long moment. Then:
“Yeah,” he says. “I can do that.”
Viktor resigns himself to recover from spinal fusion surgery alone. He fails to account for Jayce's fervent desire to serve him.

Summary
(Alternatively titled Crowley and Aziraphale Fuck the World Back Together in Seven Days, but the absolute whiplash of tonal dissonance between that title and the actual fic would have been too great, so have a song lyric instead.)
After Aziraphale leaves, Crowley sleeps, removing himself from the machinations of Heaven, Hell, Supreme Archangels, and the Second Coming. Aziraphale eventually starts visiting him and they, against all good sense and reason, begin to fall into bed with one another.
When the world ends, all that's left is each other, and the remnants of what they once had.
