Adrift in a society where his unique skillset and resume are effectively useless (because everyone knows that monsters don't exist), and lacking the credentials, connections, and equipment to legally resume his previous occupation, he must find a a way to survive, and to leave behind a world that doesn't seem to be quite finished with him just yet.
