Kara is a sugar baby straight out of college that is trying to cover rent/bills in her new apartment. She goes to an interview to be Lena’s new assistant. The interview goes well until Kara’s phone keeps going off because her prospective-Mommy (Veronica) keeps messaging her. Lena tells Kara to show her her phone and when Kara hesitantly gives it to her, Lena gives her the job, with the condition that she stays after hours to please her.

Sam grinned as she strode into Catco and then into Andrea’s office.
“I believe you owe me some money.”
Andrea looked up and sighed.
“Don’t be so smug,” Andrea muttered.
Sam scoffed and dropped into a chair watching as Andrea counted out the cash. She sighed and looked at Sam.
“I’m a hundred short. Will you accept dinner as compensation or is this a cash only situation?” she asked.
Sam thought about it.
What the hell, she was feeling generous and Ruby finally made up with her friend so she was child free for the night.
“I’ll accept dinner.”
Andrea smiled at her. In a few short weeks Sam would learn to recognise that smile, and the intent behind it.-

Summary
Lena Luthor has returned to Metropolis and finds things just as bad as when she left three months before. Andrea is still angry about their break up and her brother -the most hated man everywhere- has his trial coming up in a few months. A trial she will have to give evidence at. Lena would like nothing more than to disappear until it’s all over. But then she accidentally gets the attention of Kara Danvers, and she decides maybe the next few months might not be so awful.
Kara is shocked when she sees the pianist in the video and even more so when she gets a reply. It’s no surprise to her when she quickly finds herself falling for more than just Lena’s musical talents. If only her friends and everyone else could see that Lena is nothing like her brother, and if only Lena could see she is more than just what her talent can offer the world.

Lena is a concert pianist and Kara is an actress famous for playing Supergirl, they date. There is much fluff.
