Summary
Now that he's looking for it, Yuuji can feel it: the words are etched into him, woven into his muscles and carved into his bones. Start by saving me, Itadori. Yuuji promised he would, so now he must.
The burning pain is starting to come back again. It begins in his chest this time, slightly to the right. Yuuji swallows, reaching up to press his hand against it.
So, he thinks dazedly, as the universe begins to take him apart. This is what happens when you break a Binding Vow.

Megumi dies in Shinjuku. Yuuji is thrown back in time to save him. Again, and again, and again.

Summary
"Somewhere, out there, is a person who's made for you. Someone with a matching soulmark on their right palm. I will not deny that you make me happy, Sukuna, but I cannot steal you away from your soulmate."
They were never made for each other, they weren’t meant to be. So Megumi waits for Sukuna to leave, for them to both walk away from each other and towards their own paths of fate. But Sukuna just leans in closer.
"Well here’s the problem, Megumi." He whispers. "I want to steal you away from yours."
Zenin Megumi has everything; the perfect life, a soulmate he's soon to be engaged to, but he can't help feeling like something's missing. When he runs into Ryoumen Sukuna, his complete opposite, he finds himself slowly falling in love, but there's just one slight issue.
The soulmark on his palm does not match Sukuna's.

Summary
It’s in the middle of scanning the last bottle of green tea that Itadori properly looks up. Eye contact with him is a physical, unexpected shock, a crunch of imaginary static snapping through Megumi and leaving his hands twitching at his sides.
"Hey." Itadori blinks, wide and earnest. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
The tea sloshes backwards in the bottle he’s holding. Megumi focuses on this until his vision steadies.
"No," he says. "I don’t think so."
In the aftermath, Itadori loses his memories instead of his life. Megumi grieves nonetheless.

Summary
Yuuji cracks the blinds open, just enough to let the light bleed in without staging an attack on Megumi's eyes. He kneels down by the bed and strokes a hand over the sleep-soft skin of Megumi's nape, watching as Megumi stirs awake at the motion.
"Morning," Yuuji murmurs, keeping his voice low. "Happy birthday."
(Or: fourteen years after Shinjuku, Yuuji plants a garden.)
