It all started with a script for the new contest film. A script that was going to be the most beautiful script Ichikawa had ever written, the most glorious film he'd ever directed, the pièce de résistance of his high school film career. It would be a whole new genre that Ichikawa had never done with the film club before, all for a masterpiece that would stretch the new third years' filmmaking abilities to their limits.
And that, of course, was why he had to spend summer break working on the film and only the film.

It's impossible to see the stars from so deep under water.
That's one of Olruggio's justifications for his actions, at least. The Great Hall is as suffocating as it is lovely, and if Qifrey can hardly bear it on a good day, he's sure to attempt another escape in his current mood.
Well. That's fine with Olruggio. As long as they're together. As long as he can keep them both safe. As long as he has an opportunity to show Qifrey the beauty of life on dry land, and the constellations above.
