Looking back on it, Neil should have known today was going to be far from normal. If anything, the fact that he missed his alarm and proceeded to sleep through his second, should have been an indicator in itself that the universe had decided that today was going to be a headache.

Summary
When Percy closed his eyes, he was curled up with Annabeth, tucked away in the Poseidon Cabin. When he opens them, he’s laying on the ground, alone, and in the middle of nowhere.
Lo and behold the middle of nowhere is actually Ancient Greece, leaving Percy to find his way back home from the past— hopefully without alerting the Gods to his presence and without changing the past too much that it’ll change his present.
