She pauses at the title. Fuck. She didn’t think any of her crew knew where to find her. She finishes her drink and turns in her seat. Except she’s not met with Alliance soldiers or red scales or a purple-tinted helmet. No. She’s met with the flicker of mandibles.
“Garrus.” She slaps the spot at the bar next to her. “Have a seat, soldier.”
There’s a moment of hesitation before he actually does sit down. “I’m sure you can’t say too much, but I was just wondering how the hunt is going.”
Futile. She shakes her head. “Need-to-know basis.”
