He wakes up to find black whip shooting out his hand, feeling weird and tingly after eight years of being quirkless. He does the only sane thing he can think of; he screams bloody murder then calls Katsuki, all the while wondering what the hell just happened. [Changed summary.]
Or, Izuku's powers return in full force but does that mean AFO has also returned in one way or another?

Izuku coughs himself awake.
His head hurts. His everything hurts, for some reason, and he reaches out blindly to find the beat-up old phone he keeps on his bedside table. Seven forty-three. He doesn’t need to be up for an hour at least. Sighing, he shuts his eyes and tries to go back to sleep, wrapped in a warm blanket and hugging a spare pillow.
He’s awake again ten minutes later. This time the coughing fit leaves him light-headed and raw, lungs feeling like they’re trying to shrivel up and eject themselves out of his body. His ears seem to be full of cotton. His nose is completely blocked, although sitting up makes it marginally less awful to breathe. The back of his head throbs like his brain wants to burst out of his skull.
Oh. I’m sick, he thinks dimly.
(Izuku, a tired omega, is sick again from overwork. His boyfriend Katsuki is here to help.)
