In an innocently and friendly gesture, Jim shares a mug of hot chocolate with Spock. What happens is a chocolate-drunk Spock. And lovey-dovey feelings of course.
Excerpt:
“Are you alright?” Jim cried. He half reached out a hand towards Spock as if preparing to steady him.
“I’m beginning to recall,” Spock intoned as he reached for Jim’s hot chocolate, who was too stunned to stop him, “that chocolate contains substances that are considered”—he hiccupped— “intoxicating to Vulcans.” In an instant he drained what was left of Jim’s hot chocolate.
“That’s…interesting.” Jim wasn’t sure whether he should laugh or cry. Had he just gotten his overly logical Science Officer inadvertently drunk?
Spock waved his hand dismissively. “No it’s not.” He gave several more hiccups. “What is interesting,” he leaned forward, “are your eyes.” -
