    Hermione Granger never went to Hogwarts. She gave up a life of magic to stay by her ailing father's side.

    Draco Malfoy never knew his father. Lucius Malfoy was sentenced to Azkaban as a Death Eater and punished accordingly after the Order defeated the Dark Lord (for the first and last time).

    Years later, their paths cross at King's Cross Station. Hermione is a ticket attendant, working several jobs to make ends meet, and Draco is a Hogwarts professor, commuting weekly on the Hogwarts Express. And then there's Theodore Nott: Draco's best friend, and the man Hermione has fallen hopelessly in love with at first sight (much to Draco's dismay).

    Working at King's Cross station has its perks:
    - It gives Hermione plenty of time to read
    - She gets to see her "Handsome Stranger" (the charming man she's certain she's fallen for)

    Working at King's Cross station has its drawbacks, too:
    - Namely, "Jack Frost" (her "Handsome Stranger's" incredibly rude friend, whose frigid glare could turn someone's heart to ice with one glance)

    A perfectly reasonable aspiration after a brutal shift in St. Mungo’s trauma ward, most would agree. Her trusty vibrator, Hamish, hasn’t let her down yet, and she really—really—needs to come.

    But when a half-dead Auror shows up on her doorstep, requiring her life-saving services, Hermione’s dream of getting in a cathartic, satisfactory wank before dawn begins to feel like it might not be in the cards for her—which is seriously unacceptable, because (have I mentioned?) she really, sort of desperately, needs to fucking come.
