SHITTT IT'S SO GOODDD
like seriously, there were so many time i just had to put my phone down and just try to calm down before diving back in. it hurt so bad, but the payoff was so worth it. im a MAJOR fan of the writing, makes you feel every single emotion and live it out. it got to a point i had to whip this out at such inconvenient and inappropriate times because i was getting too restless. genuinely so good, like seriously up there in my ranking of the best things ive ever read on this site. even made a playlist as i was reading this and it only enhanced it more. now i can't listen to the album without being reminded of this fic and silently wishing there was someone else irl that felt the same way too.

Summary
At the moment there are only two heads in the Zaunwest that count - and both belong to criminals. Vi and Jinx, known as the 'Ace and Spade', however, don't get along that well lately. For the City of Piltover it can mean only one thing: more trouble. The council deputize a new sheriff - Caitlyn - who's supposed to catch both of them, preferably alive, to bring them to justice. But in the moment she goes for the hunt, so does Sevika - a bounty hunter known in all Zaunwest. The tides will turn when it turns out the strangers are not as strange to each other as they primarily thought, alliances establish, and the agreements are made. Who will chase whom, and for what, it's just a matter of discussion now.

the most beautiful thing you'll ever read, trust me
feel like previous me didn't give enough credit in this bookmark but damn. genuinely not a week goes by without me thinking about this fic. i love this to goddamn death, author really makes it a point that you feel every. single. emotion. like really, it's like you're there with the characters. the banter's cute, the fluff even cuter and the overarching story just amazing. the fixation on this hit so hard i made a playlist to listen to whenever i reread this (which is quite often). the most beautiful piece of media ive read to date. might just tell my future kids about this one.

Summary
Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.

Caitlyn's route to work as a detective at the 51st Precinct takes her right by Fire Station #516, and Vi's been pining after the gorgeous Mystery Woman for six months...what will happen when she finds out that Caitlyn's a cop (AKA: The Enemy)?

up there with where the snow takes us. i might just have a thing for red and blue ships though. but seriously, you can tell author really took their time with this one, thought it all out and wrote everything down with such detail in mind. amazing.

"I'll stitch you up when you are back to consciousness" she mumbled, completely wrapped up in the dressing of the wound. So much so that she did not notice the voice that addressed her, at first.
A female voice with a very distinct American accent. The voice sounded exhausted, parched, low, but strong.
"If you're talking to me, you're going to have to speak English sweetheart"
Caitlyn's eyes widened as she looked up from dressing the wound and cerulean eyes found the greyest ones she had ever seen, sending a rush through her that she was unfamiliar with.
Then, Caitlyn spoke.
English this time, laced with a light French accent.
"I told you your wound would need to be stitched up when you were to wake" she simply informed her, ignoring how heart her started pounding yet again.

During the summer of 1943, Caitlyn rescues US Air Force pilot Violet McAdams from a plane wreck in the French country side, and decides to hide her on her farm to allow her wounds to heal properly.
Neither of them in prepared for the romance that follows this foolish, yet courageous decision.
