Summary
Yennefer couldn't for the life of her understand why she enlisted in the Brotherhood Army. She doesn't sleep enough. The food is disgusting. Running is the devil. However, it does has one redeeming quality, not the great group of battle buddies she's making along the way, but getting to look at Drill Sgt. De Vries and her perfect bun for hours. If only Yen can find a way to make her drill sergeant drop so Yen can give her twenty.

One moment her fingers were spitting fire on the entire valley of Sodden, everywhere but for the circle of grass where Tissaia was, and the one after her eyes opened on the complete darkness.
She gulped hard, her lungs still felt filled with smoke, it hurt to breathe. She tried to engulf as much air as she could with every inhale, and that only managed to inflame everything and to make her choke on nothing.
Or the one when Yennefer and Tissaia found themself chained together in the cells of Nilfgaard. They are not very happy about it.

Coral also comes to Rinde frequently for this reason. In this story, the witcher schools never shutdown down, and various characters are witchers instead of their canon roles. The events of the netflix show will still happen in one way or another.
