Summary
“So,” she started again, levelling Clark with a calculating look, “Do we think Perry wants someone to write a piece about the throwaway comment Batman made?”
Clark blinked, dumbfounded. “What comment?”
Lois tilted her head, clearly surprised at his genuine confusion. “You didn’t hear? Batman saved an apartment complex from collapsing tonight. He apparently had a ‘kid in a colourful costume’ there to help him out. When one of the tenants asked the boy who he was, he replied with ‘Robin the Boy Wonder’.”
Lois paused for a moment, letting her words sink in before she continued, a slight smirk now on her lips. “He then also allegedly complimented the woman on her Superman pyjamas, and said ‘He’s my favourite hero!’.”
[Or: Batman has a new sidekick who's obsessed with Superman. Clark investigates and in turn gets more than he bargained for.]
