"He's keeping you dangling on a fucking hook and you can't even see it! You're not fucking stupid, Y/N!" He'd never yelled at you like this.

    Your heart was breaking as you stared at him, biting back tears. "You don't know that." You whispered, and your words sounded weak, even to yourself.

    Hito laughed bitterly, pausing to plant his hands on his hips, shaking his head. "Whatever." He finally whispered, throwing his hands up in defeat. "I'm done being the shoulder you cry on when you find out he fucks someone else." He lifted his face to make eye contact with you, tears making his own eyes glisten. "It hurts too much." Before you could say a word, he'd stomped off to his room, slamming the door. Leaving you to crumble onto the couch, swallowing the lump in your throat.

    When All for One died, it was supposed to get better. Japan was supposed to get better.

    It didn't.

    Vigilantes are now as common as heroes and villains, there's a new Trigger epidemic across the country and, to top it all, the government sometimes seems to be making it worse. Heroes are doing what they can, but that doesn't seem enough.

    Meanwhile, a group of people decides that enough is enough and, tired of this never ending war between heroes and villains, try to stay out of the conflict.

    But the chess pieces are moving, and they may not have the freedom to choose.
