Summary
Light rubbed his eyes with his fists and looked down once fully coming back to reality.
The first thing he saw was L, directly on top of him. Now it makes sense. He thought, staring at the way L had a leg thrown over his while the rest of his body was sprawled across Light.
Light was too tired to react on the outside, but his mind wasn’t clear at all. This was now the second time Light had seen L asleep, much more peaceful than last night, and this time on top of him.
Light tried to slip out from under L, but that wasn’t going to happen. L instead shifted closer to him, if that’s even possible, and unconsciously wrapped an arm around Light so he couldn’t leave.
OR
Light and L spend too many nights handcuffed together and events lead up to several questionable decisions. (blame it on the sleep deprivation)

After entering a precarious truce, L and Light get an apartment together and try to maintain a balance of power while their egos continue to clash. Light thinks he’s tamed an exotic pet into submission and L thinks he’s finessed a serial killer into doing his laundry. They’re both kinda right.

Losing to Kira, L dies of a heart attack, except after his death he wakes up in a windowless room. He quickly learns that his death was greatly exaggerated, supposedly faked by Light and Wateri. But Light is hiding something, as he always is, and L is trying to figure out the truth. Why is he alive? Why is he here? What does Light want?

Summary
Light’s desk catches on fire during the placement of L’s illegal surveillance cameras in the Yagami household, burning up the Death Note early on. Light forgets everything, the killings suddenly stop, and Kira fades away from the public consciousness but never from L’s. Six years later, Ryuk returns to Earth with a new Death Note for Light, now an agent in INTERPOL, ready for Round 2. L’s ready too.

the plot for this fic was really good and creative and had such a sweet dynamic and chemistry filled dynamic with lawlight. so much tension and problems at the start but it ends in a very fluffy and poetic way. definitely one of my favorite lawlight fics out there
