A boy’s head appears upside down, hanging off the bed. “Is anyone there?” he calls out curiously, looking right at Derek’s eyes.
Caught, then. The protocol for being deliberately seen by a child is just to look as strange and fearsome as possible. No one would believe them, anyways. But Derek is tired, and he’s been running and scared, and now he just kind of flickers, curling out a tendril of dark smoke, hoping that he’s a little bit scary.
No such luck.
The boy’s eyes widen. “Oooh, are you the bogeyman?”
“Bogeyperson,” Derek says, before he can help himself.~
When Stiles was a boy, he had an imaginary friend named Derek. Ten years later, Derek comes back, and is very, very real.

Summary
Everyone in Beacon Hills knew the Hales. They were rich, beautiful, and more or less ran the town despite being weirdly aloof. Stiles never would have imagined that agreeing to pick up Scott after work one night would end with the both of them being drawn inexorably into the enigmatic family's secret supernatural world. But when the tragedy Stiles has dreaded his entire life threatens to destroy him completely, it falls to the Hales to help him through it, in particular a reluctant Derek.
But Stiles' drive to protect what little he has left may yet lead him down a dark path he can't return from unless Scott and Derek find a way to convince him to remain the caring, selfless, spastic mess they can't live without.

Summary
Stiles and Derek meet for the first time in the 1st week of their High School Freshman year - it does not go well. In fact, so badly that for the next year and a half they barely talk at all until the day it all changes. The day that Stiles sees Derek Hale, jock and Hale Pack werewolf, smile. Maybe, just maybe they can finally set everything straight between them or maybe Derek will simply tear his throat out with his teeth.. it's 50/50 and anyone's guess.

Summary
There is an uneasy truce between the werewolves in the woods and the humans who live in Beacon Hills, protected by a magical boundary that gives warning any time a werewolf crosses it. Then the sheriff is taken by the werewolves and his son offers himself in exchange.
Stiles promises to serve the werewolf pack, not knowing what horrible use they might have for him. But it turns out his most useful skill is the ability to cross the boundary line between humans and werewolves. Life with the werewolves is nothing like he feared and the werewolves themselves are nothing like the hunters' stories would have him believe.

After being outed as bisexual in a sex tape scandal by his ex-girlfriend Kate, Derek struggles to find an acting job until he finally lands a promising role in an HBO supernatural show called Shapeshifters, in which he plays the main character. Derek instantly falls in love with the cast, with whom he has immense fun with, especially Stiles, whose relationship with Derek consists of mainly sarcastic and teasing remarks.
Which is why when Jackson shows him a fanart of Stiles and him having intense sex he gets confused and doesn't understand this whole “Sterek” thing Jackson is talking about.

LOL!
I experience exactly that dilemma quite often: Risotto rice unavailable, but plenty of Sushi rice in the store (and in my pantry). But in my case it's REALLY ABSURD because I live just an hour away from the Italian border ;)
